The 13th Coast Guard District (D13) External Affairs Division provides strategic guidance and support to the D13 Commander, Staff and field units on international, governmental, tribal affairs, and public affairs matters. Through the development of positive communication, interaction and outreach, D13 External Affairs endeavors to advance and strengthen external relationships to promote Coast Guard strategic objectives and highlight operational successes throughout D13. The D13 External Affairs mission posture is guided by the Coast Guard’s core values, the Commandant’s Direction, and the D13 Commander’s Strategic Intent.
