Senior Chief Gregory C. Klampt

    Officer in Charge

    Senior Chief Petty Officer Klampt is a native of Olean N.Y.  He entered the U.S. Coast Guard in September 2003 and graduated from Recruit Training Center Cape May in Nov 2003.

    Senior Chief Klampt currently serves as the Officer in Charge of USCGC BARRACUDA (WPB-87301) Eureka, CA. His previous assignments include, Officer in Charge, USCGC SKIPJACK (WPB-87353) Abbeville, LA, Executive Petty Officer, CG STA Port Canaveral, FL, Operations Petty Officer, CG STA Sand Key, FL, Operations Petty Officer, USCGC SEAHAWK (WPB-87323), Carrabelle FL, Training Petty Officer, CG STA Gulfport MS, and his first tour of duty was aboard USCGC ACACIA (WLB-406), homeported in Charlevoix, MI.

    Senior Chief Klampt has earned certification as Officer in Charge of Multi Mission ashore and afloat units from the District 7 OIC Board. He is a graduate of the Chief’s Petty Officer Academy class CCVII, A graduate of the Maritime Law Enforcement Academy and has earned an Associates in Science degree from Vincennes University.

    Senior Chief Klampt’s awards and decorations include: three Coast Guard Commendation Medals, three Coast Guard Achievement Medals, Commandant’s Letter of Commendation, five Good Conduct Medals, Permanent Cuttermans’s insignia, Advanced Boat Forces insignia, Permanent Coxswain insignia, and numerous other unit and service awards.

     

     

    BM1 Mindy D. Rivello

    Executive Petty Officer

    Petty Officer Rivello is currently serving as Executive Petty Officer aboard CGC BARRACUDA, the first in the fleet. As a native of Altoona, P.A., she entered the U.S. Coast Guard in August 2005 and graduated from Recruit Training Center Cape May in October 2005.

    Most recently, BM1 Rivello served as an instructor, mentor and advisor at BM “A” school at Training Center Yorktown, Yorktown, V.A. Her previous assignments include: Training Petty Officer, CG STA Cape Cod Canal, MA, USCGC NANTUCKET (WPB-1316), St. Petersburg, FL, USCGC SAILFISH (87356), Sandy Hook, NJ, and her first tour of duty was at CG STA Toledo in Ohio.

    Petty Officer Rivello has earned certification as Officer in Charge of Multi Mission ashore and afloat units from the District 5 OIC Board in the fall of 2018, and is a graduate of the Maritime Law Enforcement Academy in Charleston, SC.
