Public Affairs Request

 

 

Air Station San Francisco is located at the San Francisco International Airport. Employing 7 MH-65D Helicopters, it supports the eleven statutory Coast Guard missions along more than 650 miles of coastline from Fort Bragg to Dana Point, CA as an integral member of the Eleventh Coast Guard District and Pacific Area Team. Primary capabilities that support the following missions: Search and Rescue, Drug Interdiction, Enforcement of Laws and Treaties, Aids to Navigation, Marine Environmental Protection, and Homeland Security.

5. Guest Speaker

Public Affairs missions are scheduled around the operational requirements of our unit and are subject to cancellation if operational necessities or restrictions arise. Please note that the Aircraft Commander and Aircrew reserve the right to cancel missions if weather or other unsafe factors provide an unacceptable level of risk. Requests made within two weeks of the event date are subject to denial.

 *Groups interested in tours of Air Station San Francisco must submit a list of participants to the public affairs officer at least 14 days prior to the desired date.
