REPORTING ABOARD
When you receive orders to ACTIVE, you will be assigned a sponsor whose contact information will be included in your Welcome Aboard message. Make early contact with your sponsor in order to discuss reporting and answer any questions. If you cannot reach your sponsor, contact your Department Head as provided in your Welcome Aboard message.

Inport
When ACTIVE is inport, report to the Quarterdeck in the Tropical Blue uniform in Spring/Summer and Service Dress Blues in the Fall/Winter. The Quarterdeck watchstander will contact the Officer of the Day for further instructions.

Underway
If ACTIVE is underway, you will not be able to reach the ACTIVE YN or your sponsor by phone.  Instead, send an email to your sponsor and cc the ACTIVE YN, who is currently YN1 Justin Kuhn Justin.R.Kuhn@uscg.mil.  In most cases, you will first report to the Air Station Port Angeles Administration Office prior to meeting the ship. Ensure you are in the appropriate uniform when reporting to the office.  Arrangements will be made for you to meet ACTIVE at the next available port call. If you are meeting ACTIVE in a foreign port, travel in appropriate civilian attire and report in civilian attire, unless otherwise instructed.
