CPO Wesley Hall
CPO Wesley Hall assumed the duties as CGC Active’s Command Senior Enlisted (CSEL) in September of 2023. In addition to being the unit’s CSEL, MKC Hall is the Auxiliary Department Chief. As Auxiliary Department Chief, MKC Hall oversees the maintenance and repair of all auxiliary equipment on board CGC Active. He oversees a department that includes five junior members ranging from MK1 to Fireman. His responsibilities include the maintenance of a nearly 65-year-old cutter ensuring mission readiness in the Eastern Pacific to complete counter narcotics, search and rescue, and fisheries missions.
He previously served from June 2, 2020, to July 22, 2021, as EPO at Station Honolulu, where he oversaw the maintenance of two 45 RBMs and two 29 RBSs. While serving at Station Honolulu his technical proficiency was called upon by SPBL to troubleshoot a 45 RBM saving the Coast Guard over Fifty thousand dollars during Covid.
Prior assignments include CGC Fir and CGC Sycamore Auxiliary Division MK1; Station Apra Harbor, Guam and Station Cape Disappointment, Washington as MK2; CGC Kennebec and ANT Hampton Roads, Virginia as MK3, CGC Swordfish as SN.
A native of Utah, Chief Hall graduated High School in 2001. He worked as a river guide and ski instruction while attending multiple universities. He joined the Coast Guard in December 2006 attending Cape May, New Jersey as the Christmas Company. He and his wife, Meghan, have two boys, John and Jack. He enjoys being outdoors skiing, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
His personal awards include the Washington State American Legion Humanitarian of the Year Award, one Coast Guard Commendation medals, three Coast Guard Achievement Medals and various other personal and unit awards.
